SIMPAI - Islamic Education Management Information System

SIMPAI (Islamic Education Management Information System)

SIMPAI is an internal information management system developed to support the administration and monitoring of Islamic Religious Education teacher data within the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Banjarmasin. The platform was created to provide a more comprehensive, transparent, and centralized approach for managing teacher certification and professional allowance data.

One of the key strengths of SIMPAI is its direct integration with SIAGA Pendis, the primary education management platform operated by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Because the system retrieves data directly from the central source, SIMPAI minimizes data duplication and ensures that teacher information remains synchronized and accurate.

The application is primarily used to manage certification administration for Islamic Religious Education teachers and to simplify the disbursement process of teacher professional allowances (TPG). In addition, the platform functions as a transparent and accountable information center for certification and TPG data management within the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Banjarmasin City.

SIMPAI provides detailed monitoring dashboards that display disbursement progress, total distributed funds, teacher statistics, and other important administrative indicators in real time. This helps improve operational efficiency while making information more accessible for both administrators and stakeholders.

From a technical perspective, the frontend was developed using Next.js to provide a fast and responsive user experience, while the backend was built using Go for high performance and efficient API handling. MySQL is used as the primary database system to ensure reliable and structured data management.

This project reflects a practical implementation of government digitalization efforts, focusing on data transparency, administrative efficiency, and better information accessibility within the education management ecosystem.
